The Bundestag elections in Germany and the mayoral elections in Georgia will take place only a few days apart (Bundestag elections on September 26, mayoral elections on October 2). While Germany decides the succession of the Merkel era, in Georgia nothing less than the continuity of democracy seems at stake.
